Just Be Thankful

While many across the USA celebrate their Thanksgiving with Organic, Free Range turkey's and all homemade and handcrafted side dishes, many like myself will not.
Oh I did get a Free Range Turkey this year, but we did have many items out of a can or a box (at least those can be recycled!). I got to thinking that it doesn't matter how you got your meal or where it came from.
Even if you ended up buying that $0.40 per lb turkey at Wal*Mart or your cranberries were bathed in Corn syrup, it doesn't matter.
As long as you were thankful and with people you love thats all that matters.

So this year maybe you didn't make all your meals fresh from your garden and your turkey was probably commercially grown in the dark with steriods --- JUST BE THANKFUL.
If each of us were just thankful for what we have or even just be thankful for WHO is in our lives I think we'd all live in a pretty neat world.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in making sure everything is perfect in a our little green world we forget about the important things like People and Giving to others.

Don't let this holiday stress you out because you worry that you supported Wal*Mart (Like I did) or you bought something not so healthy -- forgettaboutit and just be Thankful. Because if you start being Thankful for things everyday rather then just on Thanksgiving you'll be thankful year round.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009 Everyone!
Here's some Thanksgiving Quotes from HERE to inspire you to start being thankful....

"Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character."
Author Unknown, from Be Thankful

"If a fellow isn't thankful for what he's got,
he isn't likely to be thankful for what he's going to get."
Frank A. Clark

"When asked if my cup is half-full or half-empty
my only response is that I am thankful I have a cup."
Sam Lefkowitz

Feeling grateful or appreciative of someone or something in your life actually attracts more of the things that you appreciate and value into your life."
Northrup Christiane
