I'm going to try this year to not use my gas furnace for as long as we can this winter. Instead I'm going to try to just use 2 space heaters and rotate them throughout the rooms we use consistently -- our bedrooms and the living room. No sense in heating up all the other rooms and paying so much to do it.
We'll see if the electric benefits outweigh what it is to use our gas furnace.
I can say that I buy all my electricity at 100% wind power or other green options so I feel like I win either way when it comes to still being green.
And we'll also see how I last by doing this!
